First appointment before chemo..what do I do? Empty First appointment before chemo..what do I do?

My partner received her first appointment for her tests before the chemo starts at the beginning of May. It's the 28th April, and I have already booked the 30th April off work to go to the hospital with her for the remainder of the tests. Should I get the 28th off as well? Part of me feels like I should be there with her at every appointment but I know that's not practical working full-time....dilemmas eh?
